Terms & Conditions
By confirming a booking with Red Studio, the Client agrees to comply with the following professional terms and conditions:
1. Studio Booking & Logistics
- Logistics & Load-In: Clients must notify Red Studio in advance if bringing large-scale equipment or bulky props. Red Studio is not liable for denied entry of vehicles or items by building management.
- Production Timing: The booked duration is inclusive of setup, hair/makeup, testing, shooting, and post-shoot teardown/cleanup.
- Extensions: Requests for session extensions are subject to studio availability.
- Usage Billing: Full payment applies even if the production wraps earlier than the scheduled duration.
- Reservation Policy: Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Tentative bookings or “soft holds” are not permitted.
- Capacity Limit: To maintain production quality and safety, a maximum of 12 pax is permitted in the studio. Exceeding this limit will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit.
- Compliance: The Client agrees to comply with all Government regulations. Any fines or penalties arising from Client non-compliance will be borne solely by the Client.
2. Fees & Security Deposit
- Cleaning Fees: A mandatory cleaning fee applies to all bookings as specified in the Pricing Table, Booking Agreement, or Invoice provided.
- Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required for all productions as specified in the Pricing Table, Booking Agreement or Invoice. This deposit serves as a guarantee against potential damages, non-compliance, or overtime.
- Overtime (OT): Additional hours beyond the booked duration are charged at RM 100 per hour, which will be deducted from the security deposit. This rate also applies to extensions post-midnight (00:00).
- Deposit Refund: The deposit will be refunded in full provided the studio and equipment are returned punctually in their original condition.
3. Payment, Rescheduling & Cancellations
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via Bank Transfer or Cheque only. Any associated bank charges are the responsibility of the Client.
- Confirmation: A booking is officially secured only when the 100% rental fee, cleaning fee, and security deposit are received in full.
- Rescheduling: Bookings may be rescheduled once to a date within 2 months of the original booking, subject to availability. If a new date is not secured within this window, only the security deposit and cleaning fees are refundable.
- Cancellations:
- 7 Days or more prior to the shoot: Full refund minus a standard processing fee.
- Less than 7 Days prior to the shoot: Rental fees are non-refundable (only security deposit and cleaning fees will be returned), except in cases of Government-mandated emergency measures.
- No-Show: In the event of a no-show, only the security deposit and cleaning fees are refundable.
4. Usage & Care of Studio
- Studio Inventory: “Studio Items” include all kitchen cabinetry, fittings, furniture, appliances, and production accessories provided.
- Condition of Entry: The Client acknowledges receiving all studio items in good, clean, and working condition. Red Studio does not assume liability for item performance once the session begins.
- Prohibitions: Clients may not repair, modify, or materially alter the physical makeup of any studio items or sets.
- Waste Management: All items must be returned to their original positions. Non-culinary garbage must be disposed of in designated bins.
- External Vendors: Use of external caterers or third-party vendors must be declared to Red Studio prior to the shoot date.
- Liability: Red Studio is not liable for any loss of personal belongings, damage to Client equipment, or personal injuries sustained by the Client’s team or guests during the rental period.
5. Non-Compliance & Damage Charges
Costs for restoration, replacement, or professional cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit (or billed separately if costs exceed the deposit) for instances including:
- Unwashed dishes, food/water spills, or leaky trash bags.
- Remnant adhesive or wall damage from improper use of mounting tapes.
- Damage to furniture, kitchen surfaces, or equipment.
- Standing on kitchen countertops or covering/tampering with CCTV units.
- Damage to building common areas.
- Excessively loud noise, rowdy behavior, or triggering of fire alarms.
6. General Disclaimer
Red Studio reserves the right to amend, supplement, or cancel information or offers featured in marketing materials at any time. In the rare event that Red Studio must cancel a booking, a full refund will be facilitated.
